About Tooth Extractions
If you are in need of a tooth extraction and the tooth is visible above the gum line, then a simple extraction can be performed by our dentists using forceps. If our dentists need to remove gum tissue or bone in order to extract the tooth then a surgical extraction is needed and may require stitches to close the site so that it can heal properly.
